Another post on color

Found out about multicolr, a cool web-based unusual search engine from this Lifehacker post.

It searches for flickr photos based on the colors that you pick out. I wonder what photos would turn up if you entered in Palo Alto's color?

The photo here is the first creative commons licensed one that I found searching for photos with red, white and blue in them. Apparently the colors most associated with the United States translate well into a photo featuring Canadians.

Do colors have inherent meanings?
