Foreign correspondent

A picture I took in Niles, Fremont next to the oldest Silent Film theater in California. Charlie Chaplin made films in this town. Go there if you can. Film history is rich across the Dumbarton bridge and the mannequin heads in the windows are ripe for thinking about horror films: a favorite past time of the writers of entre city.

On wednesday evening I depart for Columbia, South Carolina for 10 days. From there I head to London, Berlin, and Basel. Posts will be sporadic, but very precious indeed. A big kiss to all I will miss back home!
